Terms and Conditions – Tattoo
Thank you for reading and taking note of this information.
After leaving the studio premises, the subsequent care of the tattoo is therefore completely and solely up to you !
By submitting a deposit for a tattoo, you agree to the contents of all of the following notice – terms and conditions.
All materials that come into contact with your skin are disposable, sterile, safe and of premium quality… After the tattoo, I will professionally clean, disinfect and instruct you on how to care for your tattoo. The success and quality of healing is largely determined by your care after you leave the salon. Tattoos only heal for a few weeks, but you have them for life. So read the following instructions carefully and if anything is unclear, feel free to email me and consult.
REGARDLESS OF THE METHOD OF HEALING, ALWAYS FOLLOW
✔️ First of all, wash your hands thoroughly every time before you come into contact with a tattoo. Consistent hygiene is key to good healing and preventing inflammation.
⚠️ Do not use any products other than those recommended by me to soften and regenerate the skin at the tattoo site at any cost without consultation ❌ FRAMYKOIN ❌ BABY OIL ❌ BETADIN! I will advise and sell you the ideal product in the studio. If you think you are allergic to the ink or aftercare product or think you have an infection, contact me or your doctor right away.
⚠️ Don’t peel it off. You can get a scab in the tattoo area, that’s normal. Just don’t scratch it. You could ruin the tattoo and get an infection.
⚠️ Do not tan actively for 1-2 weeks. Neither in the sun nor in a tanning bed. Always protect your tattoo with a UV factor of at least SPF 50 if you want to keep it in the best possible shape.
⚠️ Don’t soak the tattoo for 1-2 weeks. Watch out for water and sweat. Skip the gym and exercise, sauna, pool and baths.
✔️ After removing the foil, gently rinse the tattoo with soap and water (preferably gel, antibacterial). Let it dry and apply the ointment I recommend. You can buy tattoo cosmetics directly from me.
✔️ Don’t re-tape the tattoo, let it breathe. I recommend wearing longer sleeves or pants for 1-2 weeks in dusty environments only.
✔️ On the first night, a little colour and blood may still ooze from the tattoo. Be careful of soiling the sheets. If the wound sticks to the sheet, don’t tear it off but gently peel it off. If you can’t, help yourself by wetting the spot.
✔️ The tattoo should be washed daily with antibacterial soap and then lubricated 2-3 times a day for 2-3 weeks. You can lubricate areas that sweat less (like calves and ankles) more often. The purpose is to keep the area supple, not dry and cracked. But it’s not good to over-soak it either. Trust your gut.
Sometimes it is necessary to touch up the tattoo a little more. This happens most often with larger black areas. If a little of the ink falls out or the tattoo needs a touch up, send me a good quality photo of the healed tattoo and we will arrange a time to repair it. But first, read up on what is included in the correction and when to apply it:
✔️ The correction covers a period of 3 weeks – 6 months from the date of tattoo. Don’t go earlier – the tattoo is not healed yet.
☞ If you come back after 6 months, the repair will cost you at least 1.500 CZK.
☞ If the correction is necessary due to your improper care, the repair will cost you at least 1.500 CZK.
☞ If you do not show up for the appointment, you will have to pay for the next appointment from CZK 1.500.
Please note that the correction does not apply in the following cases:
❌ Remakes (cover tattoo)
❌ Tattoo repairs after another tattoo artist
❌ Tattoo over scars
❌ Tattoos in places unsuitable for tattooing that you have been forewarned about : fingers and toes, palms, back of hand, wrists, neck, ear or behind the ear, fingernails, in bends such as elbow, knee, …
⚠️ If you cancel the appointment completely or fail to show up, the deposit is forfeited.
⚠️ If you need to change the date due to illness or any other serious reason, please let me know by email as soon as possible, but no later than 3 working days before the agreed date. Otherwise your deposit will be forfeited.
⚠️ I apply the two times and enough rule for rescheduling. I require full payment for the tattoo in advance to get a third new appointment.
⚠️ The tattoo voucher is valid for one year from the date of payment, the tattoo voucher is transferable but can only be used for tattoos.
⚠️ The tattoo voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for money.
⚠️ The tattoo voucher then acts as a deposit, in case the final design is higher than the value of the voucher , you need to pay the difference in price
⚠️ Other matters are governed by the applicable terms and conditions.
✔️ Studio Mamatattoprague offers its clients the possibility of tattooing with a guest tattoo artist. The tattoo artists come from all over the world to offer their original work.
✔️ Guests arrive on a whim and usually have earlier dates.
✔️ The client is informed in written communication /email, social networks/ about the possibility of an appointment with a guest tattoo artist and if he/she wants, he/she can choose one
⚠️ There is a deposit for tattooing with guests and has the same rules as for home tattooers
⚠️ The guest tattoo artist does not have to /but can/ send suggestions in advance. Many tattoo artists are used to showing designs on the day of the tattoo.
⚠️ Additional payment to guest tattoo artists is always cash only.
⚠️ Other matters are governed by the applicable terms and conditions.
